The African Union Development Agency – New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD) is committed to accelerating sustainable development in Adamawa State through strategic partnerships, evidence-based planning, and inclusive growth initiatives.

By aligning national priorities with continental goals such as Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are building a resilient, prosperous, and integrated Adamawa.

AUDA-NEPAD is partnering with stakeholders in Adamawa State to drive sustainable development, economic integration, and innovation across agriculture, infrastructure, health, education, and climate resilience.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Accelerate Agricultural Transformation and Food Security

Support smallholder farmers through climate-smart practices, improved access to inputs and markets, and agro-value chain development to boost productivity, reduce hunger, and strengthen rural livelihoods.

Empower Youth and Women through Skills and Economic Opportunities

Expand access to vocational training, entrepreneurship support, digital skills, and green jobs to reduce unemployment and promote inclusive economic growth.

Strengthen Regional Integration and Cross-Border Development

Enhance infrastructure, trade facilitation, and policy coordination along transboundary corridors to position Adamawa as a hub for regional cooperation and economic exchange in West and Central Africa.

Build Climate Resilience and Sustainable Infrastructure

Promote adaptive agriculture, renewable energy, water security, and eco-friendly urban planning to safeguard communities against climate change and ensure long-term environmental sustainability.
